Sergio Pérez won the Azerbaijan GP! It was a great race, with tense moments, having the car crashes of Lance Stroll and Max Verstappen.
The Mexican driver started in 6th, but soon in the first lap, with a great start, he was in 4th, passing Carlos Sainz and Pierre Gasly, keeping behind his teammate Max Verstappen.
Charles Leclerc started from the Pole, kept the lead for a few laps, when Lewis Hamilton passed him in the main straight.
A few laps later, Verstappen passed Leclerc, as well Perez passed him.
The race stayed with those three drivers in the first 3 positions until the first pit stop, when the two Red Bull were able to pass Hamilton, having a 1-2 until lap 46, when Max Verstappen car crashed into the wall, causing a red flag.
His teammate Perez assumed the first position and with a standstarting, he was able to keep it, even though Hamilton was about to pass him, but locking up and going straight in the turn 1, finishing in the 15th position.
Another great race was done by Sebastian Vettel, the Aston Martin driver, started from 11th position and finished in 2nd, just ahead of Pierre Gasly from Alpha Tauri, who completed the podium in 3rd, ahead of Charles Leclerc in 4th.

The fastest lap was done by Max Verstappen, but he was unable to win the extra 1 point, as he didn't finish the race (2021 DHL Fastest Lap Award).
