Final Result

Bottas won the race and Verstappen finished in 2nd assuming the leadership, as Hamilton finished in 5th after starting in 11th, it was a tricky race for everybody, as it was raining during all the time.

In 3rd finished Sergio Peréz, the Mexican driver did a great job, putting the second Red Bull in the podium and gaining good points for the Constructor Championship, getting closer to Mercedes.

In 4th finished Charles Leclerc, the Ferrari driver did his best to finish in the podium position, but was overtaken by Peréz, it is still a good performance.

In 6th finished Pierre Gasly, at the end almost passing Lewis, as the British driver was struggling with the instability of his Mercedes.

Just behind the French driver was Lando Norris in 7th, it was not a race of great emotions for him, as he finished at the same position of the start, different from Carlos Sainz that finished just behind him in 8th, starting from the 19th position, driver of the day, the Spanish driver did a very descent job, escalating the grid and fighting a lot with the weather conditions, well done.

In 9th was Lance Stroll, just ahead of Esteban Ocon in 10th, who did not change the tyres for the entire race, an outstanding effort, we do not see this happening since Monaco 1997, when Mika Salo, also in wet conditions, finished in 5th with his Tyrrell, being the last time the team got points in F1.

The extra point for fastest lap was given to Bottas as well (2021 DHL Fastest Lap Award), it was a great weekend for the Finnish.

The championship is still on, and we have a new leader again, Verstappen assumed the leadership and it is just 6 points ahead of Hamilton, with 6 rounds to go, the battle promise to be intense until the end of this season.
