Outstanding and unpredictable result, Pierre Gasly won the Italian GP!
Before starting the race, we saw the farewell of Claire Williams, who is leaving the position of Team Principal from Williams Racing Team, this team has been acquired by Dorilton Capital, an American company, but it will keep their activities under the Williams name in Grove, UK. One of the most successful teams in Formula-1. We are looking forward to see the Williams at its high again.
See you Claire Williams and thank you as to Sir Frank Williams for all the great memories your team has brought to us with all the successful drivers that have driven through your team.
Pierre Gasly from Alpha Tauri won the Italian GP! Unbelievable, nobody would ever imagine this race result. Yes, starting from 10th position, he finished in 1st! Since 1996, when Oliver Panis won the Monaco GP, we do not see a French driver winning a Grand Prix, amazing!
The race result was unpredictable, with two safety car entries, a red flag, stop and go penalty for Lewis Hamilton, a break failure on Vettel's Ferrari and strong crash with the Ferrari of Charles Leclerc.
Carlos Sainz had a good fight with Gasly at the end of the race, but the Spanish driver was unable to pass the winner, finishing in 2nd, second time this year of 2020 that a McLaren finishes in the podium position.
Finishing in 3rd position, another surprise, Lance Stroll from Racing Point, the Canadian driver had this experience before, back on Azerbaijan GP 2017, it has been a while ago.
The drivers that have been dominating the podium so far this year, Bottas finished in 5th, just behind the other McLaren of Lando Norris in 4th and Hamilton finished in 7th, just behind the Renault of Daniel Riccardo in 6th. Unfortunately the Dutch driver Verstappen retired due to an engine problem.
What a race my friends!!!
