Formula-1 is on Sochi, Russia!
Last year's Race in Russia
Last year we saw Charles Leclerc starting from the Pole position with his team mate Sebastian Vettel, starting on 3rd, but taking the lead in the first lap, just after passing Lewis Hamilton who started in 2nd and also Leclerc during the first curves of the race.
We saw then a big fight for the Ferrari, but mostly through the team radio, when they were asking Vettel to let Leclerc pass to the 1st position, due to an agreement between the two drivers, but Vettel "said" Leclerc was too far behind to let him passing.
At the end, Vettel had a DNF, Leclerc finished in 3rd, just behind the two Mercedes of Hamilton 1st and Bottas 2nd, luckily the silver arrows passed the Ferrari, when happened a Virtual Safety, by coincidence caused by Vettel who had an engine problem. Hamilton got the fastest lap of the race (2019 DHL Fastest Lap Award).
Verstappen finished in 4th and Alex Albon in 5th, click here to see the final result of the Russia GP 2019 and invite you to watch the resume of the race on the link below:
What to expect from Russia GP 2020?
Lewis Hamilton will start from the pole position again, but surprisingly Bottas will start in 3rd, not behind of his team mate, but Max Verstappen has qualified in 2nd. Sergio Peréz will start in 4th, even though he did not receive the same upgrades on his Racing Point car as his team mate Lance Stroll, who will start in 13th.
The two Ferraris will start in the midfield, with Leclerc in 11th and Vettel in 15th, just behind of the Williams of George Russell, the German driver was responsible for a red flag during the Qualifiying for Q2, after a huge crash, letting a lot of damaged car parts among the track and resulting into an exciting drama in the end of Q2, when Lewis Hamilton almost did not pass to the Q3, he crossed the checked flag 1 second before starting his flying lap.
The Renault of Daniel Riccardo is doing great, he will start in 5th, but there are good expectations towards his performance during the race, as he was showing great results until the Q3.
