Racing on Monza

Formula-1 is on Monza for this Sunday race, the first of three races in Italy territory, this year will have for the first time a race in Mungelo after Monza and later on will have a race in Imola, the F1 doesn't race in Imola since 2006, we are excited to see these races.

Last year's Race in Monza, Italy

Last year we saw Charles Leclerc starting from the Pole position, he won the race, from start to end, repeating his great performance from previous race in Belgium, with the difference that he was in Ferrari territory next to the Tifosi fans, the circuit went wild with his magestic victory over the Mercedes of Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas who start in 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Verstappen broke his front wing in the first lap after crashing into the back of the Racing Point of Sergio Perez, starting from 19th, the Dutch driver end up in 8th on the race.

Sebastian Vettel finished in a disappointing 13th position after starting on 4th position, he had spun during the race and damaged his front wing.

Hamilton had a strong fight for the first place with Charles Leclerc, but no chance for the British driver, as the Monégasque was on fire that afternoon, Hamilton got at least the extra point for the fastest lap of the race (2019 DHL Fastest Lap Award).

What to expect from Italy GP 2020?

The Mercedes are still too strong, even without the engine party mode, they were able to manage to get the front roll with Hamilton starting from the Pole and Bottas just behind in second.

A good surprise was having Carlos Sainz getting the 3rd position and it is looking good for the McLaren to have a great performance during the race, just behind him will start Sergio Perez from Racing Point, the Mexican didn't get the position by just 0.025 seconds, it was really close.

Max Verstappen will be starting on 5th, much better than last year when he started on 19th and had a discreet performance.

We hope to see a strong Daniel Riccardo, usually the Australian driver has a good performance in Monza and the Renault car is showing good strength for this race.

The Ferraris will have a tough race, much different from last year, the engine is not powerful enough this year, so Charles will be starting on 13th and Vettel on 17th, very sad for the Tifosi fans who will suffer today watching the race.
