Last time in Istambul

The last time F-1 run in Istambul was in 2011, at that time the Turkish GP, had as a starting grid, Sebastian Vettel, Mark Webber, Nico Rosberg, Lewis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso and Jason Button, on the first six positions respectively, Michael Schumacher started on 8th position, he was still racing at that time.

There was strong dispute during the race, many change of positions and it was pretty nice to watch, it was the 3rd race of that season and it was summer in Turkey, raced on May, which is completely different from now, F1 will be racing on November, it is rainy.

What to expect from Turkish GP 2020?

Stroll from Racing Point team will start in the front, it was an incredible unexpected Qualifying position, as it was raining during the session, it was tricky for everybody, but the Canadian did the best work and will be begining ahead of Max Verstappen, qualified in second, just ahead of the Canadian team mate, the Mexican Sergio Peréz, qualified in an excellent third position, ahead of Alex Albon from Red Bull team.

The position champion of the season, Lewis Hamilton, will start in sixth position, it seems the wet track was really tough for him.

We will see both Alfa Romeo cars in the top 10, with Kimi Raikkonen starting in eighth and Antonio Giovanazzi in tenth. The other Mercedes of Valteri Bottas will start in nineth, being the only one that still can be champion on this season, but knowing that this is very unlikely to happen.

Depending on the weather conditions, we might have an unpredictable final result for this race, it is most likely that will rain, so we cannot really have any idea of what is going to happen, let's hope for the best.
