Lewis Hamilton got the pole in Hungary!
Back to Budapest
Formula-1 is back to the Hungary for today's race, last year we had a spectacular show from the Red Bull mechanics, who saved the day and fix the Verstappen's car in minutes before starting the race.
Last Race in the Hungary 2020
The race start was a surprise even before it started, because Max Verstappen crashed into the barriers on his way to the grid, then we had a sensational work from the mechanics, they work brilliantly to fix the car within 20 minutes before start the formation lap, the Dutchman made a great race finishing in 2nd, dedicating the result to his mechanics, great job indeed!
Well, it was another great day to Hamilton, who won the race with no big surprises, because the rain that everybody was expecting never came anyway.
Stroll did a consistent race for Racing Point and finished in 4th, just behind Bottas who did his best to catch Verstappen, but no chance for him, finished in 3rd and dropped on the Drivers Standings to the 2nd position, just behind Lewis.
Noris from McLaren, who was doing a great job, did not have the same luck on that weekend, so finished in 13th, while his team mate finished in 10th, just ahead of the Ferrari of Charles Leclerc.
Watch the great summary for the race on the link below.
What to expect from Hungarian GP 2021?
Lewis Hamilton starts from the Pole, just ahead of Bottas, the Mercedes team did a lock out for the front row, as for the second row, we had a Red Bull lock out, with Verstappen in third and Pérez in fourth, the Mexican did a great recovery, because until then, his performance during the Qualifying wasn't the best.
Pierre Gasly was a good surprise and will start in fifth in the grid, the Alpha Tauri driver should do a great race, starting ahead of the McLaren of Lando Norris in sixth.
Charles Leclerc will start in seventh and have Esteban Ocon just next to him in eighth, ahead of his Alpine's teammate Fernando Alonso in ninth and Sebastian Vettel in tenth, completing the top 10 for the grid.
I believe Mercedes will be dominating during the race, but expect a good surprise from the Bulls, if the strategy is right, they can deliver a great result, we hope to have a good battle in the front.
