Formula-1 is on Barcelona, Spain and Lewis Hamilton conquered his 100th Pole!
Back to the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya
Formula-1 is back to Barcelona for today's race, this year the pre-season was in Bahrain and not in the Spain soil as usual and Lewis Hamilton got the 100th Pole in his 14 years old career in F1, the British driver continue to go strong and breaking all possible records in the Motorsport. Usually he runs fast in Barcelona, already winning 5 times in the Spanish GP, in 2014, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. This might be the fifth in a row, but Max Verstappen might not let that happen, the Red Bull is up to the battle this year with Mercedes car.
Last year's Race in Spain
Hamilton won the Spain GP, unbeatable, four wins out of six at that point, he was with large steps to his 7th Driver's Championship Tittle, there was no chances for the others, Verstappen did a great race again, finishing in 2nd, but could not do much to catch the winner.
Well, Bottas, who finished in 3rd, at least got the consolation reward of 1 point for the 2020 DHL Fastest Lap Award at that time, Stroll finished in 4th, just ahead of his ex-team mate Perez in 5th, who is now running for Red Bull.
The Spanish driver Carlos Sainz in his home Grand Prix finished in 6th, today he will start in 6th by coincidence.
Vettel luckily finished in 7th, even though his tyres were on the limit at the end of the race. Not so luck for Charles Leclerc, who retired due to electric problem, after his engine turned off in a strange situation, when he spun on the last curve of the race.

What to expect from Spain GP 2021?
Lewis got the pole, but Verstappen is coming, the Red Bull still strong, so it will not be an easy job for Hamilton to win this race, although the British driver runs fast in Spain. Valtteri Bottas is just behind and might give some difficult time for the Dutch driver, somehow.
Unfortunately Sergio Perez spun and only qualified to start the race in the eight position.
Charles Leclerc again starting in fourth this year, the Ferrari is doing good during the qualify, Esteban Ocon, just behind with his Alpine, they are showing some evolution after not being so consistent during the two first races, his team mate Fernando Alonso will start in tenth.
Carlos Sainz in his home grand prix will start in sixth, just ahead of the McLaren of Riccardo, who will be start ahead of Lando Norris, his team mate, for the first time this year, it seems the Australian is knowing better how to have a good use of his machinery.
Promising race with good dispute between Mercades vc Red Bull, and Ferrari vs McLaren.
Let's have a good Spanish race this year!
